LIKEWISE was a fully “functioning” bar that changed hands monthly as a new artist was given charge of the space via our Bartender in Residency Program. Participatory, interactive, socially engaged artworks were installed in the space and bar patrons were encouraged to experience the work while enjoying a cold one. You never know what you were going to step into: A Late Show set, a poetry reading, a 5-hour flight to Sheboygan, FREE SIDE-CAR RIDES - you name it. We got real good and making napkin drawings a reality over the years.
